GRAND BLANC – The Gensee County Democratic Party selected Linden School Board Member Steve Losey (D – Linden) to run in the replacement election in Michigan’s 51st House District to protect middle-class families and our communities.
“I am extremely grateful and honored to be selected as the nominee to represent the families of the 51st
Steve Losey and FamilyHouse District,” Losey said. “Michigan families are hurting and the Republican’s agenda is setting us back on the path to a 21st Century Economy.”
“Steve Losey is the right person to represent southern Genesee County in the State Legislature,” said Genesee County Party Chair Art Reyes. “We need someone to fight for middle class values and Steve Losey will take our voice to Lansing.”
“This is going to be a tough election and I am going to be working around the clock, starting tonight, and am going to work hard to earn every vote I receive in February,” said Losey.
Losey graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors and Masters degree and currently works as a special education teacher for Redford Union School District. Losey is married to his wife Laura and has their three children.
