Come and be apart of a historic state-wide campaign that will guarantee the right of all Michigan workers the right to collectively bargain. The Protect Working Families Campaign is looking for ambitious, energetic individuals who want to see victory for working families this November!
Protect Working Families is looking for Campaign Fellows to shadow, assist, and learn from Regional Organizers as together, they reach out to Michigan voters to vote ‘YES’ to protect collective bargaining.
Fellows responsibilities will include
Recruiting volunteers and helping organize voter contact events
Face-to-face voter contact
Data management and work in the Voter Activation Network
Attend and assist with District Organizing Groups
Fellows will learn
The fundementals of political and community organizing
How to use the voter activation network
Voter contact best practices
How to organize for political change!
Fellowship Requirements
Self-starter
Relevant work / academic / life experience
Positive Attitude
Computer Skills (internet, data entry)
A dedication to the labor movement’s working men and women
